PIN TRIBUTE IN MEMORY TO RUTH ROBINSON (1915 - 2013)
"Ruth [was] an extraordinary jeweller of our time. She has pioneered a unique style of weaving fine gold, silver and anodised aluminium wire into light-as-air necklaces, chockers, bracelets and earrings. Her creations incorporate a variety of materials gleaned from her extensive travels all over the world. Her work is informed by her openness to foreign cultures and her artistic mind draws influences from a profoundly eventful life."
Martina Dempf, September 2005

"It will be organised and sale of her jewellery and donate the proceeds to the charity the Tigray Trust.
The date is to be confirmed, but February is a good candidate month.
Ruth was an enthusiastic supporter of the Tigray Trust.
May I suggest that a small donation to the Tigray Trust would be an appropriate tribute.
It’s relatively easy to find out about the work we do in Northern Ethiopia and to make a donation online at www.tigraytrust.com"
